WRITINGS dated 1890, BIOGRAPHY dated 1901. Volume I of WRITINGS and both volumes of the BIOGRAPHY with frontispiece portraits. Each volume with a library bookplate to front pastedown, as well as discreet library stamp to front pastedown and title page, but these appear to be the only library markings. Light shelfwear. Light sunning to spines and edges, with some light soiling to exteriors. Light wear and some fading to paper spine labels. Volume I with a small scrape to fore-edge of front board. WRITINGS with some glue-toning to endpapers. Light toning to page edges, but interiors clean and bright. Overall very good with faults as noted.
