Title continues..."Illustrated with Post Office Plan of the City, Maps of Environs, and Numerous Views". Bound in blue cloth with gilt title and decoration to the front with imprinted decorations to the front and back boards. Very dunned/darkened along spine and top edge, some fading to front and back boards but remaining neat and robust. Two ink inscriptions to end papers, one more contemporary. Hinge sound, though split along edge of contents page revealing webbing. Fold-out Plan of Edinbugh at the front. Pages smooth and clean if lightly age-toned, illustrations thoughout, closed page edges gilt. A good neat copy.
