Photographs include the manufacturing plants at Adlershof and later at Kaiserdamm, including one picture of the wreckage of the devastating fire at Adlershof (blamed on the British Secret Service), which forced the relocation, production halls, and many of the company’s aircraft, both on the ground and in the air. One particularly striking image shows Germany’s most successful flying ace, Manfred von Richthofen - The Red Baron - piloting the company’s Roland D III. At a time when most military related operations were shrouded in secrecy it can only be assumed that such a volume was produced in extremely small numbers for a select group.
