Special limited edition of 100 numbered large-paper copies (from a total edition of 2000), signed by Prof Arber. 3 vols, later buckram, royal 4to,. xvi, 576 + x, 664 + x, 742 pp. This is a large format reprint of the "Term Catalogues", a series of catalogues of new books that began in November 1668 and represent one of the earliest systematic attempts at a near -complete bibliographic record. After the first issue, the series continued at the rate of four issues a year for until June 1709 (covering the reigns of Charles II, James II, William and Mary, and Anne) : the name "Term Catalogues" reflects the fact that issues appeared about the middle of each of the four law terms in the year.
