VG+ / VG- . 1941 Doubleday, Doran, first edition / early (not first) printing. Hardcover with dust jacket. The rear inside flap is torn and missing a chunk. Otherwise it's a nice copy with some normal edge wear (e.g. spine ends, corners, etc.).

VG / G+. 1962 Duell, Sloan and Pearce, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Book is in very nice shape, but is missing the FFEP. The jacket has 2-3 small pieces of tape reinforcing the spine folds. Jacket is worn at spine ends. Other than FFEP & tape, the book is quite nice.

VG+ / VG+. 1973 Dial Press, stated first printing. Hardcover with dust jacket. Belinsky famously took advantage of everything Los Angeles had to offer a rising young star. Maury Allen gives an uncensored look into the Playboy lifestyle of a pro athlete. Nice shape.

VG / VG. 1977 Doubleday, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Contemporaneous biography of the race car driver from one of the sport biography masters - Bill Libby. Rear jacket cover has a 1/2" closed tear / crease. Boards show some age discoloration

VG / VG. 1950 Knopf, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Collection of Red Smith articles that originally ran in the New York Herald-Tribune. Illustrated by Willard Mullin. Dust jacket has a couple of small closed tears to the rear cover.

VG / VG. 1961 Doubleday, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Autobiography of the Hall of Fame Yankees catcher. Dust jacket has minor edge wear + wear and small chips at both spine ends.

VG++ / VG. 1965 Beacon Press, first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Contains stills from the film + the film's screenplay. Book is in very nice shape; jacket shows some wear.

VG+/VG+. 1950 Oxford, first edition / third printing. Hardcover with dust jacket. 1/4" chip to top of jacket spine. Foxing to outer page block edges.

VG+ / VG+. 1947 Hamish Hamilton, "Novel Library" edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Tiny hardcover (paperback size) reprint edition in nice shape. Includes dust jacket.

VG+. 1953 Bantam A1162, first printing. Softcover. Nice condition for a Bantam Giant issue. One small corner crease on rear cover.

VG+. 1955 Ace D-228, first printing. Softcover. Very nice shape. One small, light corner crease.

VG. 1951 Bantam 865, first printing. Softcover. A couple of light cover creases. 3/4" tear to rear cover / lower spine connection.

VG+. 1961 Vintage V-727, first printing. Softcover. Basis for the first film directed by Mel Brooks.

VG++. 1962 Popular Library M2000, first printing thus. Softcover. Very nice copy of the film tie-in edition, featuring Cal Berkeley grad Gregory Peck on the cover.

VG+. 1975 Futura books, second U.K. Printing. Softcover. Bookstore rubber stamp on inside cover. Some foxing To the first few (non text) pages.

VG+ - NF. 1962 Citadel Press, stated first paper bound edition. Softcover. Short play by the man himself, plus some B&W drawings.

G / VG. 1965 Putnam Sports Shelf / clean dust jacket (aside from pre-printed label stating "Library Edition"), but EX-LIB book. Hardcover with dust jacket. Another tough title to find from this series that I'm offering up despite the library pedigree. Book has typical library stamps, etc.

Good / Good. 1974 Putnam Sports Shelf / EX- Library copy. Hardcover with dust jacket. Without the library issue, this would likely have been a VG+ - NF copy. It's a title I rarely see with a dust jacket, which is why I'm offering it up even as EX-LIB.

VG / VG-. 1975 Putnam Sports Shelf, first edition - NOT ex-lib. Hardcover with dust jacket. Sadly, the top edge experienced a little water damage at some point in its life which impacts the jacket (top edge is rippled) more so than the book itself. Otherwise it's in terrific shape.
