Billingshurst: The Bookplate Society in association with The Keridwen Press, 1988. 1st edition. Paperback. Octavo (21 x 15 cm). 35 pages, 23 of which are b&w reproductions of the bookplates. (Also a b&w photograph of the artist as a frontispiece.) Part of a limited run of 500 copies, 140 of which were numbered and signed by the author. This is copy number 75: the number is inked on the reverse of the title page, the signature on the Introduction page that follows it. Very Good in Good jacket. Text a little shelf-soiled in its bottom corner, near the fore-edge. Jacket has faded around the spine, which is also a bit tanned at its foot.

Number 133 in a limited edition of 800 copies, published to mark the 800th anniversary of the founding of the University of Cambridge. Very Good. Corners of the boards a little bumped.

Part of an exhibition by the National Library of Austria, Vienna, held between 27 May and 26 October 1994. Text in German. Good. Page edges slightly tanned. Cover a little faded at the spine and worn at the corners.

Catalogue of an exhibition held at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, between October 2007 and January 2008. Very Good. Page edges a bit tanned. Previous owner has written the date in the top left-hand corner of the front paste-down.

Revised and enlarged printing of the Second Appendix from Block's previous work, "The Book Collector's Vade Mecum". Good. Boards dull and rubbed with wear to their edges, spine ends and corners; spine faded. Endpapers and page edges tanned; top edge very dull. Small label ("The Times Book Club, 42 Wigmore St, W1") on the rear paste-down; small ink stamp to the rear free endpaper.

Octavo. pp. [2], title page, [1], 3-(11), colophon, [2]. 1 b&w and 3 coloured illustrations, from woodcuts in the collection of the author, within the text. (Other coloured elements are a device on the title page and the first three lines of the text). Printed by students in the Letterpress Machine classes at the City of Birmingham School of Printing, under the direction of Leonard Jay. Good. Text tanned at the edges. Cover has some wear along its edges and in its corners. Both faces a bit grubby in places; slight off-setting to the back.
