Van Nostrand Reinhold. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1973. No dustjacket. Pages are complete, free of makrs or highlighting and are secure in the binding. However, the book has a few significant defects aside from ordinary wear. On the front cover bottom corner, the edges are damaged. There is a 1 inch across and 1/2 in deep tear in the back endpaper and last blank page near the center of the top edge. And starting at the front cover there is a hole about 3 inches from the spine and 3 inches from that top, pierced by a very fine object that penatrated through the cover, and into the next 95 pages. Just inside the front cover on a blank leaf are someone's sketches, lightly in pencil, and on the last page, someone's notes in blue fountain pen ink. Aside from that, the pages are clean, are free of tears and are securely in the binding.
