Pocket Books. Softcover. Good +/none. 2001. First edition/printing. Mass market paperback. Minor wear on the covers around the edges and the corners. Discoloration, due to age on the inside covers. Pages are a bit discolored as well, but clean and reasonably crisp. The binding is remarkably tight.

Ace Science Fiction Classic. Mass market paperback. Binding is very loose at the front and back covers and at the last few pages. Pages are yellowed but aside from that clean. Insides of the covers are yellowed but outside colors are still vibrant. Significant crease near the spine on the front cover and a series of creases on the upper right corner. Very worn at the corners and edges with a small 1/4" tear a thirrd of the way up on the edge of the front cover. A second small tear on the bottom of the front cover near the spine. Uncertain of the year of this edition, but the inside it says "This Ace edition follows the text of the first hard-cover book edition originally published in 1916."

TOR Science Fiction. Softcover. Very Good/none. 1997. Very little wear, just a bit around the edges of the cover. The pages are clean and the binding is still quite tight.

Dust jacket is in very good shape with minor rubbing and spots of wear along the edges, especially at the front bottom corner. Pages are crisp, clean and free of marks. The binding does have a bit of looseness and there is an indentation/crease in the spine, especailly towards the top.

Aside from that the pages are clean and binding is tight. On the back cover there is a 3/4" semi-circle area of slight discoloration about mid-way up the edge, and there is an area over the UPC code were the coating on the cover was removed where there was once a sticker. 2013. First Edition with full number set. Dust jacket shows just minor rubbing and wear along the edges. On the front end paper in the middle of the bottom edge, there is a 1/4 triangular tear, the tear gets smaller with each following page until it is gone altogether by the second title page, after the map. On the first title page there is a "Robert Jordan" signature in pen, however, because this book was published six years after his death, it cannot be authentic. 2010. First Edition with full number set. Dust jacket show just very minor wear but about half way down the spine from the top, the jacket has been folded, but not to the point of creasing, and there is a minor ding on the edge of the jacket, at the top back on the spine. The pages are crisp and clean and the binding is tight. The only marking in the book is on the title page of what appears to be a Robert Jordan signature. However, because this novel was published post-humously, I am certain that is it not authentic. If not for that marking, I would rate the book "fine" instead of "very good +.".
