This offer includes volumes 1 and 2 of Abraham Lincoln - The Prairie Years, and volumes 1 through 4 of Abraham Lincoln - The War Years. The Prairie Years is a 24th printing of the 1926 edition. The War Years is a 1939 printing of the 1936 edition. All are in good shape considering their age. Bindings of each volume are intact. Blue cloth boards with blind stamp on front and gold stamping on spine are clean and show light edge wear. Rear corners of volume 4 of the The War Years are bumped. The political detective story of the 20th century, this first edition copy is from the third printing, signed by both authors on the first free endpaper. Jacketed hardcover, Mylar covered jacket has been has been priced clipped. Ex-library book with usual stamps and markings, the library card has been removed from the back endpaper leaving residue glue and paper. Sadly, the jacket has been affixed to the case cover.
