It is most notable for its illustrations, being the first major commission for the then 18 year old Norman Rockwell. Binding is intact though front free endpaper and half title page are detached. Tan cloth boards with gold and black stamping are soiled, rubbed and very worn with fraying of edges and corners. Both hinges are cracked. Edge of text block is soiled.
