Description:
1867 quarter bound hardcover as pictured. Binding is intact but loose. Brown pictorial boards are scuffed and very worn. Green leather spine is worn and torn at head and tail with a piece missing at bottom. Both hinges have been reinforced with cloth tape. Despite this the from board is lifting away from the text block. All maps are present. One page is detached from signature. Text is age tanned, many pages are mottled. A few pages have pencil notations, a few have worn and chipped fore edges. An interesting look at the mid 19th century map of the world.
