Description:
1917 hardcover as pictured. Volume I only. A handsome volume that has seen some wear. Binding is intact aside from FFEP which is nearly detached. Embossed brown cloth boards with gold stamping show wear at edges with slight fraying at head and tail of spine and at corners. Front hinge is cracked. Gilt edges to text block. Head and tail bands. Text is tanned but appears otherwise clean and unmarked. Tipped in illustration at page 44 is loose. No dust jacket.
