A Beautiful copy! Copyright 1933/1949. Limited Editions Club. Green slip case has some wear and has been reinforced in some places with tape. Shows minor soiling on the end. Boards are in very good condition with the exception of the front board starting to break away from the book. Spine of book shows minor discoloration. The cover is in very good condition. It has been kept in the slip cover and the only wear is on the corners of the book. The inside pages are pristine--clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. No writing or highlighting. No names. Spine is undamaged. Outside bottom of pages have picked up some dust. Not an ex-library. Nonsmoking. Shipped in its slip case within a box with tracking confirmation.

1923 copy. Most likely a first edition. No DJ. Maroon boards with gilt lettering on cover and probably spine. Spine is faded and unreadable. Book shows moderate wear, especially at the top and bottom of the spine and at the ends. Front hinge is somewhat loose but securely connected. Pages have tanned with age. I only see a tear on one page; the corners are not bent.

First Edition 1908. Reprinted 1912. Previous owner put a book cover over book. The back part of the book cover came off showing the boards. I was unable to remove the front part of the book cover without fear of harming the book. Boards are maroon. Spine has come away from the book. Back board is coming away from the book. book lays flat when opened. Pages are clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. Nonsmoking. Proceeds from the sale of this book assist our local library. Book is like new. Leather bound. Maroon leather cover with stamped gilt decorations to boards and spine. Three raised bands and gilt lettering to spine. Gilt edges all around, decorative endpapers front and back. Cover in very good condition. No noticeable wear. Pages are clean, not torn, no markings anywhere, and the corners are not bent. Spine is tight. Comes from a nonsmoking collection. Proceeds from the sale of the book are donated to our local library.
