SECOND EDITION: 1953. Landmark Books/Random House. No DJ. Book is covered with golden-yellow cloth with an airplane on the front. Book cover shows wear, primarily along the edge and the top & bottom of spine, where the latter is bumped. It is also stained with a brown substance, probably foxing. Outside of pages show foxing. Pages are age toned but clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. Spine is undamaged. Nonsmoking.

SIGNED copy inscriped to the daughter whose father was killed in WWII and who is included in the book. The author was a Chaplin with the U.S. Army Air Forces, 1943-45. The inscription was written July 31, 1947.
The boards are in very good condition and are covered in a plastic cover. The ends are bumped and there is some light fading to the top and bottom of the book. Pages are age tone but are clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. Nonsmoking.
