His son, Sir Arthur Wallace Pickard-Cambridge, FBA (20 January 1873 - 7 February 1952), and the author of this book, was a British classicist based at Balliol College Oxford for much of his career. He was one of the greatest authorities on the theatre of ancient Greece in the first half of the 20th century..
