Approximately 40 column inches in length describing why USA should be at war with the Britain. 4 pages, 12.5" x 19" deep, folded to 12.5" x 9.5" approximately. The pages have be torn apart along the 20" height in the centre leaving a ragged edge. No type is affected. Otherwise condition is good. America officially delcared War on Great Britiain which included Canada, on June 18, 1812. This was 8 months after this newspaper was published. It was almost one year to the day after this article the Battle of Queenston Heights (Oct. 12, 1812) was fought.The casues of the War of 1812 is often discussed today however this is an American perspective printed in an American newspaper 8 months before the start of the War of 1812.
