Auction catalogue. Fine. Softcover. Sale of the British Guiana. The stamp sold for over $9 million, the fourth time it had achieved a record price for a stamp. The stamp and it's ownership has an amazing history since it's initial issue in 1859. Somebody could make a movie about it's history. The catalogue is thoroughly researched and well written, as would be expected for a major auction featuring one item. The catalogue is in fine, like new condition.

First Edition. Near fine / near fine. The late Ed Marlo called his craft and himself a"cardician". This book was published 2 years after his death and it includes a lot of his great stunts. The book has a wrinkle on the book and jacket at the head of the spine, otherwise book and dust jacket are in excellent condition.

Signed. First Edition, 1892. Ancient Greek military history written in the 3rd person which is used to teach the Greek language; thus the dictionary. The book has minor rubs and scuffs all around and there is a one inch tear at the bottom of the title page which seems to be from brittle paper. There is are quarter inch tears on 2 pages at the end of the book in the advertising section. The pages are toned, but evenly so and the book is very tight and only lightly read. There is a previous owners bookplate on the front end paper. That owner is Henry Gibbs Morgan. The book is inscribed on the front free end page "H. Gibbs Morgan, Esq. from M. H. Morgan".

Signed. First Edition. Study of the history of medicinal plants from the earliest known history. The cover is from a detail of a mural by Diego Rivera, 'The History of Medicine'. The book and dust jacket are in fine condition. Author Cox has inscribed and signed on the front free fly leaf.

First edition, 1921. Softcover. Aimee Semple McPherson was a nationally known evangelical preacher in the 20's and 30's. The movie Elmer Gantry was loosly based on her. Ms. McPherson's photograph opposite the copyright page is slotted into the page, not glued down. The cover is lightly soiled and there is edge wear and some chipping where the soft cover overlaps the pages. The corners are square and the pages are clean and unmarked. Listed as Very Good+. Marbled end papers. Rare in this edition and condition.
