Trammell Crow, one of America's biggest commercial real estate developers, amassed one of the finest collections of jade in private hands in the world according to the Director of the National Palace Museum in Taipei. The collection for this book was curated by the leading authorities in the field. It includes everything from royal seals to hairpins. Since the publication of the book the Crow family has established the Crow Asian Art Museum in Dallas, Texas. The book is in near fine condition with only slight shelf wear.

This is a technical book which attempts to be reader friendly. There are numerous beautiful photographs of weapons, from the 17th century on, many of them never before published. There is also a section on gun barrels and other functional items. The book and dust jacket are in fine, like new condition.

Exhibition of contemporary ceramic art from Shiga Prefecture, Japan. 112 color plates. Beautifully photographed. Spectacular exhibit. Shiga is east of Kyoto and is a major ceramic producing area from ancient times. The exhibit was held at the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park In Koka City.
