The text is Fine, and is clean, tight, bright, with no markings and probably unread since a few of the pages are uncut. Inscribed by Isabel Burton to her cousin: "To George Smart..with Kindest Regards…from his affectionate cousin…Isabel Burton..March 1879". "The rarest of Isabel Burton's books. Near Fine condition and extremely bright gilt cover. This book was in essence and account of Isabel and Richard's Tour of India in the late 1870's.
