Prreface by T. W. Bacchus, who founded the Hercules Powder Company in 1912 - and sold it for ten million dollars in 1914 ! A scientific and practical treatment of high explosives. Amply illustrated with photogravures, charts, sketches, Barab wrote several books on mining and explosives, and patented an improvement in nitroglycols.
