The author is not given in this book, however, the Rollo series was written by Jacob Abbot. Original brown cloth blindstamped covers, gilt spine lettering still bright. Illustrated with 4 full page black & white illustrations, a frontis illustration and several small text cuts. There are no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names, and no bookplates. The pages are generally clean and bright. There is fraying to the top and bottom of spine, the spine is leaning, and the rear inner hinge is broken, however, the front inner hinge and the exterior hinges are strong. ; B&W Illustrations; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 180 pages .

Original blindstamped dark blue cloth covers are slightly cocked with some cover rubbing & extremity wear; lacks front free end paper. There is expected wear to tan printed paper-covered boards, and the lower corner tip of the front cover is chipped, not affecting the text. "Adam's New Arithmetic, Revised Edition." This is a tight, sound copy with occasional foxing, but the pages and text are generally in clean condition. This was a standard text in many early school houses in the United States. There is a faint old owner's name in pencil on the front end paper: "Charles D.
