Description:
Pub for the Massachusetts Bay Colony Tercentenary Commission by The Old America Company, Framingham, 1930, hardbound, 212 pp, illustrated with dozens of photos, hardbound. This particular copy happens to be ex-lib, but that's what makes it interesting. It was presented to the Mount Vernon, Ohio, Public Library and signed by Frank G. Allen, Governor of Massachusetts, December 12th, 1930. A typewritten explanation is tipped inside the front cover. The cover shows wear and discoloration, but internally the pages are in quite good condition - with the exception of the frontispiece, which, though present, has become detached. FAST SHIPPING. .

Description:
Pub by Le Prieur, 1809, hardbound, 482 pp. Here's the sixth volume of Blanchard's famous work, and the one of most interest to North Americans as he describes Mexico, the United States, Canada, and other areas not yet incorporated into the US. The prints of the indigenous folk are all present. This book is crying out to be rebound. Ninety-nine+ percent of the pages are in quite good condition, but the cover is not so hot. There were probably leather labels on the spine where there are now blank places, and the leather is coming loose from the boards which are curling in at the corners. The binding is reasonably tight and the pages bright.
