The internals are mostly clean, but there is some major residue to the rear endpapers, with a visible attempt to remove it proving poor. There are no ink inscriptions and the early Ardizzone illustrations are all clean and present. This is a very good copy of a scarce work. A poem by George Crabbe and an early work by Edward Ardizzone.
