Some tears in the leather on rear cover, doesn't go through to the boards. Corners are bumped. Spine is darkened and has a small hole which goes through to the filler paper behind the spine. Heel of spine is split about a half inch. Interior pages are lightly foxed. A paste down of the former owners name on front end paper. Volume 1 only

Some of the pages are slightly tattered along the deckle, but it does not interfere with the text. Overall a good copy for it's age.
