First edition, first printing, inscribed by the Author on the front free endpaper: "Charles love Roald Dahl". Octavo, Publisher's blue boards, spine lettered in gilt, Publisher's dust jacket, profusely illustrated throughout by Quentin Blake, two printed postcards promoting the signing of the work at Harrods loosely inserted.
