This is a slip-cased set of the first six titles (Seven-Day Magic not present), with the case listing all seven titles, but the case is sized for only the six books included. This appears to be the way the bindery produced this set, and I can find no reports of others like it. The box gived its copyright date as 1999, while the copyright for this edition is given as 2001 for each book. The books indicate they are 4th or 5th printings, so it is hard to specify the exact printing. The books are for the most part in As New condition, save for Knight's Castle, which has some slight folding of the rear cover. The top of the front cover has been slightly damaged in two small spots, one of which also caused a 4 mm. chip in the top of the front jacket. When its captain learns that two German destroyers have been sent to remove this British presence, he must prepare for a one-man war to prevent the enemy from controlling the high seas. Former library copy, the dust jacket is still in plastic and taped in place, appearing in very good shape. The book has various library stamps, and the rear end paper was removed with a library pocket presumably attached. Otherwise the binding is tight, text is clear, and it is a good reading copy. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
