Measures around 7 3/4" by 5 1/4". Brown cloth binding, pictorial front board and spine, black lettering to front board, yellow detail and gilt lettering to front board and spine. Some discolouration, scuffing and a little marking. Some signs of shelf-wear, slight tears at top of spine, bumped and slightly torn corners of boards. Puckering to rear board. Binding reasonably firm, strained in the odd place, slight slackness to spine, split to inner rear hinger but holding. Page edges browned, foxed and scuffed, lower edges deckled. Light foxing and marking to page surfaces throughout but generally clean, a few pencil marks to rear pastedown but otherwise no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.

Octavo/8vo, measures around 10" by 7 1/2" by 2 1/2". Black leather binding, gilt lettering to spine. Scuffing, some scoring and a little marking to binding but quite clean. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, split to outer front hinge and a little at base of outer rear hinge. A little slackness to binding and there appear to have been repairs to inner hinges but book contents quite firm. Upper page edges gilt, a bit scuffed but still reasonably vivid.
