Paris: Association des anciens combattants russes pour l'etude de la guerre mondiale, 1927. Original pictorial wrappers. Quarto (26.5 x 20.5 cm). 68 pages: plans, maps. It comes with a bunch of newspaper clippings and addons on separate sheets. Text in Russian. Minor wear to wrappers; internally, very good.<br /> <br /> The book contains five lectures titled "Air Force Tactics." They were lectured from June to July 1927 by the Military Pilot Major General V. G. Baranov in Paris. General Lieutenant N. N. Golovin enjoyed worldwide fame as a military scientist after World War I. He aimed to preserve the military experience of the first large-scale world war and share his knowledge with the Russian military in exile. Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich of Russia supported opening the first courses in Paris on March 22, 1927.
