Green cloth binding with faded gilt lettering to spine, considerable discolouration towards upper edge of front board (with a little foxing) and to extremities generally and spine. Binding reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed, a little foxed and otherwise marked. Comparative Political Development by G. Lowell Field

Hardback, 1967 (though contains tipped in note stating it was actually published in 1968 due to production delays) Cornell University, first edition.

Professor Field provides an original comparative analysis of governmental regimes, reclassifying political systems and using scientific and logical methods to classify types of political units, constructing a model and applying it to explain existing systems and predict future changes.

In very good condition, a nice clean copy, very clean boards and pages, little sign of shelf-wear, minor marking, a couple of minor tears and slight signs of ageing to dust-jacket with some tanning to its spine but otherwise excellent, no inscriptions, underlining, etc.
