This copy with "A Flood in the Office" still present. First published in 1919, this short essay about Sir William Willcocks' pamphlet "The Nile Project" caused an uproar in 1936 as well as a libel action. The youthful minister concludes his address by shrewdly reminding his congregants "People should also express their Thankfulness for their faithful Ministers, by supporting them agreable to their Station and Character, not suffer them to be in low and penurious Circumstances" (p. 31).
