Some light stains on the spine.The book, lithographically and typographically printed by A. Chaix, is limited to 525 copies. This is one of the 500 copies on vellum (No. 236) after 25 Japanese.
Illustrated with 30 plates: five facsimiles (three double-color plates, one double black plate included in the page numbering, and one single-color plate) and 25 chromolithographs (21 by Jules Chéret, two by A. Choubrac, and two by L. Choubrac). Also includes 65 black facsimiles based on original documents, of which 36 are full-page.
This copy has wide margins. The interior is in excellent condition. The original covers have been preserved, as well as the illustrated covers and spine, all in one piece.
