Description:
London: Jonathan Cape, (1965). First UK edition, first printing. This is a near fine copy. The Quentin Blake dust wrapper is worn at the top edge, with some closed tears present at the bottom edge. There are some sparse spots throughout. It has been neatly price clipped but retains the original 18s net price. The blue publisher's boards are pristine and sharp at the corners. The text blocks are lightly foxed, spreading to the flaps. This copy is free from previous owner's ink and is, overall, in near fine condition. Increasingly scarce. The second 'Uncle' title.
