London: London: printed for John Bell, 1777. 1st Edition . Full leather. Very Good/Very Good. First edition thus, 12mo; [4];77,[3];63,[1];77,[3];85,[1],2;67,[5]pp. With opening engraved frontispiece and general title page, and separate title pages, frontispieces and pagination/register for each play. In eighteenth century full leather over five raised spine bands (slightly worn, spine labels missing from second and third compartments), remaining spine compartments gilt, original marbled endpapers, very light unobtrusive spotting to opening and closing leaves but overall a very clean example. ESTC separately lists each volume of Bell's extensive dramatic collection; this volume (ESTC N62148) is listed at 4 UK and 3 US locations.

Collection of separately paginated dramatic works issued as Vol. 9 of Inchbald's's British Theatre, each play with its own title page and frontispiece; 12mo, in contemporary early nineteenth century half calf (somwhat worn with minor loss to extremities, early owners ink inscription to front pastedown). Occasional spotting and paper browning but overall a very good copy.
