A very early, finely printed essay on automobile travel, first published in Motor Magazine. Young was a prominent journalist and early motor enthusiast, the first person to publish a book about the sinking of the Titanic and author of "The Complete Motorist" and "The Joy of the Road." A very good copy with comtemporary gift inscription to front endpaper, soiling, offsetting and wear to covers, toning to pages.
