Mount Lebanon, NY: The Shakers, 1910. Silk bookmark mounted on cardstock. The Shakers order a large quantity of these but for some reason never distributed them. Good condition but top edge of the silk bookmark is glued to the cardstock.

ALS Egbert Benson (1746-1833). Revolutionary War patriot, lawyer and member of the Continental Congress. New York Attorney General, Congressman and judge. Letter dated Albany 1799 to Captain Sands informing him that he has sent a saddle of mutton and asks that he invite his brother to dinner to enjoy it. This letter includes the address leaf.

London: Karl Baedeker, 1908. Very good Original red limp cloth gilt lettering Sixth edition Name of the traveler in ink on front pastedown: "JF Bodwell SS Arabic, Cabin K" A very good and complete coy with all charts and maps 437 pp pp.

New York: M. Walter Dunne, 1904. 10 volumes. Number 341 of 750 sets. Leather spines faded, lightly worn and dry. These would clean well.

London: John Ollivier, 1848. Bound in Later cloth Maconochie was a Scottish naval officer and prison reformer who was appointed governor of the small Australian Island of Norfolk which was used at the time to house prisoners Later he returned to England and authored a book on prison reform In this piece he describes his belief that emigrants needed to be prepared to move to the colonies and in the second part of the piece he offers specific advice 24 pp pp.

Cleveland: Kaufmann & Fistler, 1855. Broadside. 11 1/2" x 12". loss to the edges. Likely printed by Peter Kaufmann who was a follower of George Rapp and later found the short-lived utopian community Teutonia.

New York: The Vanguard Press, 1938. 306 pp. From the author of "I am a Fugitive from a Georgia Chain Gang." Dust jacket not price clipped. Some chipping to the jacket around spine and edges.

London: Longmans, Green, and Co, 1865. 3 volumes. 3/4 leather with marbled paper covered boards. Light rubbing and wear to the binding. Interior good with foxing. A good gathering of the papers of this British woman writer.
