Corners and spine ends rubbed spine lightly soiled and rubbed, first and last few leaves, as well as fore-edge, all a bit foxed with a few other pages very faintly so, else an internally clean, tight copy with all color plates in fine, bright condition. Signed by the artist, Edmund Dulac.First edition, limited issue, being #938 of 1,000 copies signed by the artist. A wonderful collection of French Fairy tales, from Charles Perrault, Madame d'Aulnoy, and Count Anthony Hamilton, including Puss in Boots, The Green Dragon, and The Blue Bird. Dulac's gorgeous watercolor illustrations make this handsome volume of often overlooked fairy tales a true delight.
