This is The Holy Bible bound with the Complete Book of Psalms, printed in 1660 and 1669. With contemporary paneled polished calf boards, it has survived in fantastic condition despite being printed at the end of the Interregnum. This Bible contains 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament, and at the rear of the book is bound the complete Psalms. Margins are ruled in red, and the book begins with a dedication to King James I. Near Fine Condition. Brown leather covered boards with pannled gilt design to front and rear board. Marble end papers. Gilt edges. Neat pen inscription to verso of front free end paper and title page. The rest of the text is clear of any inscription. Binding and hinges are firm. Pages are clean with minimal tanning.
