Edmonds and Spark, Aberdeen), gilt lettering to spine, rubbed and split down front spine, top of spine missing, paper toned and a damp stain to lower right corner for the first twenty five or so pages, loss of the lower corner to page 71/2 which has been replaced with a plain piece of paper with loss of a bit of the text, some patchy toning throughout and some mild foxing to fore edge, binding tight. The title page states this to be the soixante-troisieme mille (63rd thousand).

Very Good. 8vo, pp. viii, 580, half leather over blind stamped blue grained cloth, this unevenly faded, gilt decoration and lettering to spine, this a little rubbed, corners gently bumped, interior with moire silk effect end papers, some uneven toning to prelims and corresponding end pages, otherwise generally crisp and clean, all edges gilt, with all illustrations, binding tight.

Very Good. 12mo, pp. vii, 160, original blind ruled burgundy cloth, paper label to spine, this chipped and rubbed, boards with paint splashes and other marks, corners bumped, fep with tipped-in newspaper cutting, the glue has leached through to the other side of the page, something was stuck between pages 64 and 65 which has been removed but took a small portion of the text with it, otherwise the interior is crisp and clean, binding tight.

The author. 12mo, pp. xix, 204, original gold boards with black lettering and design, rubbed to the extremities but quite bright, spine dulled, interior with 'Sample Copy, with the publisher's compliments' stamp to title page, hotel name to following page, fold out map, with some foxing and small tear near hinge, just before index, some toning and marks throughout but very largely clean, binding tight. It would appear from the number of copies carrying the publisher's compliments stamp and additional provenance that many of these were distributed to hotels in Britain. The author was an illustrator with the Illustrated London News and an adventurer whose travels took him as far afield as South Africa, Western Australia and Siberia. He was a special war correspondent during the First World War, reporting from the Italian front.

A summary of the legal obligations of both landlord and tenant in Ireland in the mid-nineteenth century, brought up to date with the introduction of the Landed Property Improvement and Landlord and Tenant Amendment Acts of 1860. Rare. Original blind stamped red cloth with gilt lettering and garter around title, covers rubbed and corners bumped, inked owner's name and address to ffep, otherwise interior clean and binding sound.

The cover states the publisher to be Burns Oates and Washbourne, the title page states Cameron Ferguson & Co and that it is the 'Author's Edition'. Probably dates to the late 1870s or early 1880s.

Contains a series of tables showing approximate weight and breaking strains of particular products of this specialist company, founded in 1884, as well as couplings, etc.. This booklet would have been produced in about 1950.

Good. 8vo, pp. 16, pamphlet with pictorial paper cover (of the church of St. Columba, Swords), a few marks but reasonably fresh, at one stage folded into quarter but now flat, interior with some toning marks but largely clean, some bruising to fore edge, staple rusted and binding is loose. Inserted is a four page 19th century manuscript list of 'Monumental Inscriptions in Finglas Churchyard'. listing 10 inscriptions dating from 1670 to 1835, including some from the chancel of the Old Church (presumably old St Candice's, Finglas). Although the lecture was originally delivered in 1860 (whilst the author was the vicar of Lusk), this publication must post date his death in 1892. Also includes a small pamphlet from the Glasnevin Parish for fund raising towards the enlargement of the parish church (St. Mobhi's), dated 1896. A chancel was added that year and the south aisle in 1908.
