Late 17th century full calf rebaked with original spine laid-down, gilt tooled in a fleur de lis seme pattern with a central device of a shield with lilies encircled by thorms or "lilium inter spinas" and tooled with the title "Collegium Grasssineum", marbled endpapers, a.e.g. Vincinti's printer's device, historiated initials. Front cover reattached professionally using Japanese paper, corners sympathetically repaired, pale toning and foxing at margins, old pencil and ink notations to front flyleaves. Ink inscription by Edward White Beson, former 19th century Bishop of Canterbury, or his father. Pages: (4) 270 (6) Dimensions: 6½ x 4⅜ x 1.
