A very good copy with minor soiling to covers.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana: Direct Advertising Company, 1938. Large quarto, green printed wrappers, 102, [2] pp, numerous photographic illustrations throughout. A 1938 yearbook for the Fresno District of the Civilian Conservation Corps, providing a rich visual record of the various companies at work in the Ninth Corps Area of central California. The yearbook begins with messages from President Roosevelt and from corps officials, followed by a history of the Fresno district, followed by sections covering each company within the district, listing the names of the members and printing group photographs, images of company members at work, and scenes of the various CCC camps in the district. Wear, foxing, and staining to covers, chipping to upper spine with loss to some of spine covering, mild chipping to wrappers along edges.

Isaacs, real estate lawyer, judge, newspaper editor and philanthropist, Myer S. and the eldest son of the second English-speaking Rabbi in the United States, the Rev. Dr. Samuel M. Isaacs (1804-1878). A very good copy with minor fraying to spine ends, bit of spotting to front cover, darkening to covers.

Includes running games like blind man's bluff and tag, ball games, bean bag games, and more. An attractive copy with a bit of wear to covers.

An early American spelling book, which includes a section of illustrated "moral tales and fables for the instruction of youth," including "The Old Man and His Ass," "The Naughty Girl Reformed," etc. One inch tear to margin of one leaf, small hole to another, quarter sized hole to another leaf. Lacking blue paper that would have covered the binding, leaving the wood boards exposed. "Spelling" inked to spine of book. Frontispiece pasted down to front cover. Upper half inch of front cover lacking. Damp staining to first half of text. This copy inscribed "Mary Mason's Book Princeton Nov 30th 1813" to rear endpaper.

Promotional booklet to attract residents to the town of Fort St. John in northeast British Columbia, Canada. "This brochure compiled by Silas Trepus was instigated by the Town Council of Fort St. John and the Fort St. John and District Board of Trade, in an effort to answer the hundreds of questions on town and district which are asked our people every day" (text from title page). Mild creasing and wear to covers, lower two inches of spine split, very good.
