VG. 1st Separate Edition. 15.2 x 21 cm paper wraps with yapped edges, unpaginated [48]with decorative capital letters and 4 illustrations by Albert Buhrer. Toning to the wraps with rubbing to the spine tips, corners and edges. Minor loss to the spine tips of up to 3mm, a little creasing to the corners and yapped edges. There is a 2 cm split to the top joint of the front wrap and 0.5 cm on the top edge of the front cover. Internally, there is a stamped ownership name to the first page but otherwise the pages are clean. The book is now protected in a rigid, clear, removable cover. A lovely copy. First Edition. 17.3 x 20 cm card chemise with illustrations to the front and rear and original ties, containing a 20pp advertising pamphlet produced for Quina-Laroche (a medicinal drink) with testimonials from 10 actresses concerning its efficacy. Also contained within the chemise are 10 colour plates of the actresses by de losques. Rubbing to spine and edges of the chemise and some toning and marking with a couple of scuffs on the rear board. Internally, the loose colour plates are clean and bright and the text pages have just a little uniform toning although the cotton that tied them to the chemise has perished.
