B T Batsford Ltd., 1948. 1st Thus. Hardcover. VG++/VG++. 1st Edition Thus. 14.7 x 22.5 cm grey cloth with red titles to the spine. Top edge tinted red, 135[1] pp with 61 pages of photographic illustrations including frontispiece. In original unclipped jacket priced at 16s Net. Clean boards with firm sharp corners. Internally without name, inscription or bookplate but with some light spotting mainly to the endpapers and the edge of the text block. There is a vertical crease on p61. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown), presents very well but has a touch of spotting and tape reinforcement to spine tips and corners of the front flaps on the verso. All in all a very good plus copy of this collection of impressions of New York, a revision of his 1938 book, Cecil Beaton's New York, with new post war illustrations.
