The paper-covered boards are lightly bumped at the corners and slightly cracked at the back-strip, but are otherwise in tact and firm. The title label is with some handling marks, with an impressive border. The internals are lightly toned in places. Accompanied by an ALS from the author, on his headed paper, addressed "Dear Mr. Binyon", reading "I am sending you a copy of my last small collection of verses, written mostly, as a matter of fact, in the summer of 1921, when the eight-line octosyllabic seemed somehow to fit my needs.
