In vol. 6 page 275/276 had been torn out and in vol. 10 the half title and title page was missing. These are supplied in facsimile from the copy in the National Library of Ireland. They have been loosely inserted so that any future purchaser may if they wish rephotocopy them on antique style paper to match the other pages. They have been rebound in original condition which means that in vol.8 the duplication of pages 29-52 and 53-76 has been left, as originally bound. Slight browning of pages and roungh endpapers but wide margins and all text clean and legible. A most important work in the Shakespeare canon from the pre-eminent Irish scholar. Additional essays and dissertations make this a very sought after and scarce set.
