Minor foxing to the preliminary pages and the edges of the text block, else the book is in very good condition. The dustwrapper is in fair condition (torn with loss to the spine panel). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it. Undated; JISC suggests a date of 1937, but the print code at the end of the book (YB/251/1063) suggests a printing date of 1936.

London: 1686 or 1767. 12mo, [xvi], 530pp. Full brown calf. Binding rubbed, lacks title page and half of the first leaf of the contents [leaf A1], preliminary pages stained, leaves G7 and G8 torn without loss, wormhole to lover margin. Overall a good minus copy. A previous owned has re-created the title page in manuscript on the leading blank. The book was first published in 1686 / 1687, and there were further editions in 1767 and 1841. This copy is clearly earlier than 1841, but beyond that I am uncertain.
