This is a travel description of a tour of Palestine, by the author, in the 1860s. The author journey took him from Alexandria to various towns in Palestine, including, Jerusalem, Damascus, and Bethany. He also described a tour to Mount Etna, and Rome. This volume is well bound, clean cover,

This volume has a tan cloth book cover with "EBB" in script on front cover. No dust jacket. There are no markings on the book cover or pages. The book pages are decorated with many initials by Valenti Angelo throughout.
This volume is printed by The Heritage Press for the George May Companies, Inc.
On the 4th cover page there is "A NOTE ON THE TEXT. The present text is reprinted from that of the fourth edition of POEMS by Elizabeth Browning published by Chapman and Hall in 1856. This was the last edition published in this author's life-time, and it contains her final revisions; the sonnet now numbered XLII was included in the series for the first time."
