Enpapers irregularly sunned. a couple glue-spots front cover. Unclipped dustjacket has handling wear and shelf-soil, with some wear & tear to edges, date stamped on back flap, and sunning inside.

Dallas: Baskerville Publishers, Inc., 1994. First printing (stated). Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good+. 6 1/4 x 9 1/4. 2J. Lacquered cloth over boards, in dustjacket. Inscribed by Wheelis to a well-known American novelist (photo on request) and signed on the front free endpaper. Book very clean and nice, with tight binding and good hinges. Aside froom the inscription there are no marks. Top front corner has a small bump, and crown of spine is a little creased. Unclipped dustjacket has some wear and creasing to extremities, with one 1/4" tear to lower edge of back panel. Dustjacket still shiny with hardly any rubbing wear.

Brewster, Massachusetts: Two Cape Cod Weavers, 1980. Softcover. Very Good. 8 1/2 x 11. B&W illustrations. 1G. Stapled wraps. The drafts have been translated into present-day notation. The illustrations include both the threading charts and photos of the finished product. The probable dates of the drafts are 1798-1826. As for the book, the staples are rusted, the cover is a little sunned, with minimal wear and a few spots and smudges, and the pages are lightly toned.

Little cover wear, but ***covers are foxed.*** Other books in this series came with glassine dustjackets, but because the artwork on this book is on the cover, I do not think this one originally came with a jacket.

Unclipped dustjacket, with glassine cover, is toned at the edges, with a little wear at spine-ends.

Inscribed and signed by Johnson in marker pen on the front free endpaper. A nice clean copy with strong binding and hinges. A little wear and sunning at spine-ends. Last page has pulled away a little where it's pasted to the endpaper (binder's fault). Dustjacket is nearly as new, with virtually no rubbing wear, and a very little creasing at crown of spine.

Boston, Massachusetts: John W. Luce Company, Publishers, 1945. (NAP). Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 6 1/8 x 9 1/4. B&W frontispiece of a stone-rubbing from an incised likeness of Hung Tu. 4G.. Sewn binding in paper-covered boards with cloth spine, in dustjacket. Includes many of Hung Tu's poems. This title is available in cheap reprints, but this copy is the original, in hardcover with a sewn binding for durability. The binding is firm, with intact hinges and square spine. No marks. Some wear, soil and sun-fading to covers. Small spot on front endpaper at hinge. Price-clipped dustjacket is worn, with some creasing, and tearing at the top edge at and near the spine, and a couple pieces of tape on the inside.

Sewn binding in laminated pictorial boards. ***Book I only***. In this "open score" version, the voice parts are presented independently, "each appearing on a separate staff. A four voice fugue is notated on four staffs rather than [two]." A nice copy, nearly as new. Firm binding, strong hinges and square spine. No marks. Just a little bumping to extremities, else very little wear to still-shiny covers. I noticed a couple pinprick spots to two pages. Spine sunned.
