Warm Springs (1944-47). 84 photographs, also included are: 13 paintings of patients being fitted for body casts, water therapy and the ever present wheel chairs. Albert Gold's paintings are also in the Smithsonian, the Philadelphia College of Art and many museums. The most interesting are the photographs of the Dedication of the Little White House after FDR's death. The photograph of Grant Jackson's singing there is dated June 1947. The photographs are much clearer than those published in the Atlanta Constitution on June 26, 1947. Laid in is a 20 page booklet "The Story of the Warm Springs Foundation" which not only features President Franklin Delano Roosevelt but lists all the Medical Doctors, Therapists, and administrators. A 15" x 11" broadside with a fine woodcut of an American eagle at top with a ribbon in it's beak reading "Equalled by None". Imperial Princes' Polish $500 Will be given to anyone who can produce an article to give a brighter lustre on SLIVER or BRITTANIA and PLATED WARE than the Unrivalled Princes'' Polish. Followed by directions for use and where to purchase the produce. Concludes with "Further reccomendation (sic) than one trial is deemed unnecessary". Reverse is blank. Unusual collection of 'interview-discourses by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh on the various aspects of meditation' with instructions on mediation techniques, printed in Bombay in English in a print run of 3,000 copies. 286 pages, with two pages of ads listing the 'Available English Books of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh' with prices in rupees, testament to the productivity of this period.
