This unique copy from the collection of renowned American sculptor and writer Lenore Thomas Straus (1909-1988), with her tasteful bookplate affixed to the front paste-down (see our image). Illustrated with 12 black and white plates, as called for, and with drawings by Noel Rooke. Glossary. An entry in Pitman's Artistic Crafts Series of Technical Books. Mild shelf wear. Dust jacket with chips, short tears, mild erosion of paper at spine ends. Jacket now protected against further wear by a sheet of removable Brodart.
