First edition hardback in original Tala designed dustjacket , states copyright 1935 and letter A on verso title page ,318PP, black boards with yellow titles to spine and front , no inscriptions , no spine lean , no tears to pages , corners are pushed with minor wear , spine tips are pushed with wear , usual page toning with age, no foxing , in original jacket that is not price-clipped showing $2.00 on flap , spine tips , edges and corners rubbed , spine , back panel and flaps are toned with age , toned on verso , feint crease to spine, an early title in original jacket , not a remainder , not an ex-library copy.
